PIONEER DAYS AD FLYERS - DEADLINE FOR ADS JULY 8, 2011

Any licensed Fairview area business can place a business-card sized ad in our FAB Pioneer Days handout.  There will be no charge for paid FAB members.  The charge will be $25 to non-members.  (See the About page to learn how VERY inexpensive FAB  membership is!) This black and white flyer will be distributed throughout Fairview during the days leading up to, and including, the 24th of July.

How to participate -
  1. When planning your ad - remember it will be printed in black and white or grayscale.  It is best to print and inspect it first to make sure it will be readable and have impact.  Keep it simple.
  2. Ads that include a coupon, giveaway entry or discount sale are the most effective.  Include an expiration date.
  3. Send a PDF or word file of your business card sized ad to Katie Shell
  4. OR - Send the information you want included in your ad to Katie and we will design a simple ad for you
  5. The deadline for these ads is July 8 at MIDNIGHT.  Please try to get your ad to us sooner.
FAB PRINTED BUSINESS DIRECTORY AND WEBSITE

Our website www.explorefairview.info  provides detailed information for visitors and locals about things to do in Fairview and surrounding areas.   A searchable base of information about local businesses, products and services will be a main feature of the website.   This is a free service from FAB and will include -
  • Individual web pages for each local business and links to your existing website, if you have one
  • A few photos of your business or products
  • Basic information, hours of operation, services, brands and products offered
  • FAB member entries will be highlighted
To make this searchable database work, we need everyone's information AS SOON AS POSSIBLE.  Please contact Katie to have the Business Information Form emailed to you.

This same information will be used to put together a simple printed directory for all homes, businesses and lodging in the area.

GENERAL GOALS OF THE FAIRVIEW ALLIANCE FOR BUSINESS

FAB (Fairview Alliance for Business), will work to:
  • Increase local and visitor patronage and dollars spent in the area
  • Provide resources, educational and growth opportunities for business owners
  • Create an opportunity for networking and coordination between local businesses
  • Support and give back to the community
